Appointed by President Obama as the first United States Chief Information Officer, Vivek Kundra is credited with saving over $3 billion in taxpayer dollars, adopting game-changing technologies in the public sector, strengthening the cyber-security posture of the nation, and launching an open government movement through the Data.gov platform. As the director of North America Shared Financial Services (NA SFS) for GlaxoSmithKline, a global pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare company, Al Barbee is responsible for service delivery of accounts payable, travel & expense, general accounting, fixed assets, JD Edwards help desk, and indirect tax processes for GSK's NA businesses. During his 10-year tenure in SFS, Mr. Barbee has led multiple process improvement initiatives, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the SFS processes.
For example, implementing Ariba's e-invoicing solution across GSK's NA procure-to-pay process contributed to an overall 20 percent cost savings through incremental process efficiency. He manages service delivery through Genpact, a business process outsourcer, and such improvements have led GSK to achieve some of Genpact's best-in-class metrics across many of the financial processes that Mr. Barbee's team oversees.

Ms. Lasecki-Coiro is head of global supply chain strategy and performance for Anglo American, one of the world's largest diversified mining and natural resource groups. Since 2008, she has led a value-enhancing transformation of Anglo American’s supply chain. The process has involved an organizational change from a decentralized to a matrix operating model; the application of strategic category management; a formal supplier relationship management program; and a strong performance management and governance process.
Prior to joining Anglo American, Ms. Lasecki-Coiro worked for BP. There, she held numerous high profile positions in procurement, supply chain, systems, and marketing, successfully delivering a number of transformational projects. With degrees in engineering and business, including an MBA, she brings more than 20 years of global professional experience, having managed teams on all continents across several industries. Ms. Lasecki-Coiro resides in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Ann Oka joins Ariba LIVE to talk about the importance of strategic alignment between an organization’s business and IT leaders when supply chain transformation is the goal. Her career has provided her with considerable insights on the subject. A seasoned supply chain professional, Ms. Oka is senior vice president of supply management for Sodexo in North America, with supply chain responsibility for more than $4.5 billion in spend.
Previously, Ms. Oka worked with Unilever Bestfoods for 20 years. She began in operations, managing a vegetable oil refinery and later overseeing food production operations. In the mid-90s, she served as a systems and financial liaison for the company’s nascent shared service purchasing organization.
Rising steadily through the organization, Ms. Oka became the senior purchasing executive and, following the company's merger with Unilever, was named vice president of supply management, responsible for supporting Unilever's North American food business.
Ms. Oka currently serves on the board of directors for the Sodexo Foundation; the board of trustees for the Center for Strategic Supply Leadership; and as treasurer and member of the executive committee of the GS1 Foodservice Initiative.

Tony Tocco, senior vice president and chief information officer for Sodexo North America, is appearing with Ann Oka to discuss the importance of aligning business and IT leaders during an organization’s supply chain transformation project.
Responsible for the company’s information systems and technology (IS&T), Mr. Tocco has been involved with setting technology strategy, systems implementation/integration, infrastructure expansion, and data center consolidation, as well as providing high quality IT products and services for Sodexo employees, clients, and partners.
And under his leadership, in 2009 Sodexo IS&T received ISO 20000 certification for its Data Center Operations & Infrastructure area in recognition of a strong focus on quality.
Previously, Mr. Tocco was with Electronic Data Systems for 12 years in various engineering, technical, and leadership capacities. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, with bachelor of science and master of science degrees in mechanical engineering.
